A quiet location, personal atmosphere, and honest home cooking make our inn a popular destination for couples, families, and those seeking peace and quiet.

Our inn is located in the heart of Oberzeiring, right next to the church on the market square, and has always been a central meeting place for locals and guests alike. We have been running the Grüner Specht as a family business for over four generations, upholding the values that make our establishment so special: genuine Styrian hospitality, warmth, and a long-standing tradition.

from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Sundays and public holidays:
from 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays

Chef Philipp Gruber-Stadler gained many years of experience in top-class gastronomy in Austria and Switzerland. Since 2015, he has been running the family business with great passion, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
